August 23, 2011:  THE FORGETTING GAME’s director Russell Sheaffer’s was interviewed by San Diego’s KPBS radio station ahead of the screening of one of his short films at the 13th FilmOut. Russell’s 16mm black and white film ALONE was an official selection at San Diego’s LGBT Film Festival. He was invited by KPBS radio to speak about his short films and also THE FORGETTING GAME.

August 2011: The Greater Cleveland Film Commission features the announcement of the roster of accepted films at the 2011 Chagrin Documentary Film Festival. THE FORGETTING GAME is officially announced as a selection under the ‘First Film’ category to mark Russell Sheaffer’s directorial debut.
